A recent scientific study revealed that there is a link between daydreaming and Alzheimer's disease or senile dementia, which erased the memory and the capacity of speech at a patient.
The study, carried out by the new University of Washington that part of the brain that is the process of daydreaming, is the same part that is developing the Alzheimer's disease, later in some individuals.
This study suggests that the brain activity of natural Daydream supports serial events that lead to Alzheimer's disease.
The head of the search, Randy Buckner, a professor of psychology, "The indications are conflicting, is that these patterns of activity among young people is the Footing that is taking shape in which Alzheimer's disease."
Buckner said, "may be the normal cognitive function of the brain that leads to Alzheimer's later injury. This relationship did not bear in mind at all."
The psychology professor, this may lead to the series of events ending with Alzheimer's disease in some people.
The study will be published in this week's Journal of neuroses specialist.
The researchers at the University of Washington and University of Pittsburgh using five imaging techniques to scan the brains of 764 people divided into three categories for age, people in the twenty years of age and older who began to have opposed the dementia and the third category is the category of people with dementia actually.
The researchers found when comparing brain images that parts of the brain related to meditation and daydreaming and retrieval of memories of a beautiful young people were evidence of the emergence of Alzheimer's disease, later.
The researchers explained that part of the brain on the dreams of vigilance is a permanent activity, even if the brain in the case of Astraha, according to what was said by William Klonc one based on research.
Klonc said, "It does not stop Kmahrk slow at all and this activity may support a series of events that can lead to dementia."
The study concluded that the relationship is not clear does not mean that daydreams danger, but further research may shed light on them.
It is noteworthy that, 4.5 million Americans are infected with the disease.
